Emmaus House, inclusive Christian community guest house, offers Bed and breakfast accommodation, spiritual direction & life coaching to local people and visitors to Edinburgh.
Why “Emmaus”? In the Gospel, Emmaus is a place of new beginnings. At the inn at Emmaus two of the disciples encounter the Risen Christ as he breaks bread at table with them and opens their eyes to a new hope. Our community at Emmaus House aims to be open to the new insights and inspirations we need today for our journey together. For more about us click here.
Staying with us. We warmly invite you to share an experience of community with us as part of your time in Edinburgh. Guests, of any faith background or none, are welcome to share in meals with community members and with visitors from around the world, and, if they wish, in our regular worship. Eating together around the table is the perfect opportunity to meet community members, local people and other visitors.
The house is a three floored Georgian terraced villa (dating from around 1830), conveniently situated for all the attractions of the city centre.
Accommodation is in double, twin or single rooms (most with en-suite shower room). A ground floor bedroom is available. All rooms have wireless internet access.
