The Epiphany Group was formed in June 2000, bringing together women and men who have trained in Ignatian Spirituality and practice in Scotland. Members of the Epiphany Group are lay and ordained, and belong to different Christian traditions.
We offer mutual support and ongoing training to our members. We also look outward to a wider ministry. In our wider ministry, we offer help and support to individuals, informal groups, churches and parishes, who wish to explore the spiritual aspects of life and faith in their own setting. We make ourselves available to accompany people who want to explore God’s relationship with them. We offer spiritual direction, retreats, quiet days, training courses and supervision.
Ignatian Guided Retreats are founded in the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius of Loyola. They offer a spirituality which many find relevant to their busy lives and helpful in making good choices.
Each day there is the opportunity to meet with a trained spiritual director who will share your journey, listen to your hopes and desires, help you to explore those issues which seem more important. He / she may offer suggestions for ways of praying, of coming to stillness and of growing in awareness of God in all things. The silence offers space to pray, meditate, and come to a deeper sense of God’s presence, without some of the distractions of daily life.
Retreatants will be welcome to join in the programme of prayer in our chapel. For more information about the Epiphany Group go to www.epiphanygroup.org.uk
